San Diego Harbor Cruises by Hornblower Cruises & Events
Hornblower Cruises perfected the San Diego Harbor Cruise and Dinner Cruises over 20 years ago on San Diego Bay. They excel at the Yacht Charter business with 27 yachts available for boat rentals. They are the company that has grown from a two-ship operation in San Francisco to a $40 million business featuring 30 yachts located in six ports along the most beautiful waterways in California. Hornblower is the yacht charter market leader in each of its six port cities; San Diego, San Francisco, Marina Del Rey, Newport Beach and Berkeley.

1985 - expanded from private charter only busi business to include Harbor Cruises, Nightly Dinner Cruises and Sunday Brunch Cruises

1989 - recognizing a demand from the public to go Whale Watching in comfort, Hornblower added Whale Watching Adventure Cruises on big comfortable, fast ships to see Gray Whales, dolphins and other marine life on a 3.5 hour cruise

1992 - introduced the "Lord Hornblower", Hornblower's flagship to the fleet with capacity for 880 guests. It is still the largest charter yachtl in Southern California

1996 - created Hornblower Marine Services as a separate entity to provide consulting services to marine businesses and ferry services

1998 and 2000 - Won Finest Service Award from San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau
